Cada año en el Museo Metropolitano de arte de Nueva York se lleva acabo el Met Gala y; como es tradición año tras año, la noche se viste de exquisita moda desfilando desde atuendos simples con siluetas sencillas hasta los trajes más conceptuales. Este año, la alfombra roja se inundó de vestidos con diseños y patrones orientales, asimismo exuberantes tocados y tiaras adornaron los looks de las estrellas, proclamándose como los representantes de este año.
Every year at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York is held the Met Gala; as is tradition year after year, the night dressed exquisite fashion parading from simple outfits with simple silhouettes to more conceptual costumes. This year, the red carpet was flooded in oriental designs and patterns style, also headdresses and tiaras adorned the lush looks of the stars, claiming be the representatives of this year.
Por otro lado, tanto JLo, Beyoncé y Kim Kardashian se fueron por lo seguro y optaron uno de sus típicos atuendos, resaltando su curvilínea figura. Sin embargo, el look ganador se lo lleva Kim K. usando Roberto Cavalli; la elección del blanco destacaba muy bien en su piel, además el maquillaje y peinado estuvieron totalmente acertados, a diferencia de JLo y Queen B. No obstante, fue Rihanna quien deslumbró en el Met Gala con su dramático vestido amarillo de Guo Pei.

Por otra parte, hubo algunos looks arriesgados, como el de Solange Knowles que mostró un atuendo geométrico extremadamente conceptual y excéntrico y, aunque quizá no estén de acuerdo conmigo; a mí me encantó. Me parece perfecto para celebrar el arte. En el caso de Dakota Johnson, esta presento un atuendo demasiado simple para la ocasión.

Aunque, Sarah Jessica Parker no me fascinó este año porque su atuendo fue muy extremista, mi peor vestida de la noche; aunque me duela, es Ellie Goulding. El vestido de Marchesa no le favorece en lo absoluto, se ve desalineada y no abraza su silueta. Además, los zapatos tampoco van con ello. Realmente es un desastre.
Although Sarah Jessica Parker didn't fascinated me this year because her outfit was very extremist, my worst dressed of the night; though it hurts me, it's Ellie Goulding. Marchesa dress does not help her at all, she looks sloppy doesn't embrace her silhouette. Moreover, her shoes does't look well with it. It really is a disaster.

La verdad es que me ha sorprendido muchísimo Sarah Jessica Parker con ese estilismo tan arriesgado y sobre todo el sombrero tan grande! Sobre los trajes masculinos que has sacado me encantan ambos y el aire barroco que llevan, los patrones orientales también me encantan y seguro que vienen con más fuerza la siguiente temporada!
